Disney nominated for more than 200 Oscars - Just over 50 Wins (put in perspective with the number of films they've made?, is this many?)

HORIZONTAL MARKETING: Has own Radio Station, Theme Parks, Shops, Cruise, Clothing Line, Toys, Video Games, TV Channel and Record Label. Movies made into stage shows e.g. Lion King. Re-releases of old classics? (Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King re-released in 3D in 2011) What does this show? Quality IS better than quantity?

Target Audience- Children. Constantly refreshed, need entertainment- lots of demand for films.

Phone APPS- e.g. The Muppets 'TAPTAP'

VIRAL MARKETING - with ONLINE PRESENCE, social networking sites. Facebook groups 'loyal followers of Red/White Queen' alerts audience of upcoming films/sequels. Spoilers, fan-made trailers etc.
